Fire razed the Mechanic Village in Oke Afa area of Isolo, Lagos and killed three siblings in their sleep. The fire was said to have broken out at midnight behind Jakande Estate, Oke Afa in Isolo while people were sleeping.


There were houses and shops situated at the mechanic village and the children were sleeping in one of the houses when the fire broke in the village, PM news reports.

Director, Lagos State Fire Service, Rasak Fadipe confirmed the fire outbreak, saying that there were many shops, houses and vehicles in the mechanic village.
