A 7.9 magnitude earthquake has hit Himalayan country of Nepal this morning killing at least 108 people, Nepal police says.  The shallow quake struck west Kathmandu, causing buildings to collapse, injuring many and leaving a pall of dust over the city, witnesses said. Tremors were felt across the region, as far afield as Pakistan, Bangladesh and neighbouring India. A Nepali minister said there had been "massive damage" at the epicentre.
