After visiting Taraba state, President Goodluck Jonathan proceeded to Adamawa state for the continuation of his presidential campaign rally. However, he met angry youth who reportedly stoned his  convoy in Yola, the Adamawa State capital.

The angry protesters were chanting anti-Jonathan songs, and condemned his failure to crush Boko Haram fighters. The protesting citizens also destroyed cars and other valuables before security overpowered them in the course of the protest.
