Nollywood Aneke Twins Cover New Edition of Berribunch Magazine

Nollywood actresses/producers, Chidinma and Chidebere Aneke, popularly called, Aneke Twins, have contributed a good quota to move the Nigerian industry, Nollywood to the next level. This has not gone unnoticed as they have won awards, and the rewards keep counting. The twins movie makers recently covered the latest edition of Berribunch Magazine, where they disclosed how they rose to stardom. The Nollywood twins were dressed by Annes Couture a fashion house based in Enugu, while the pictures were made available by Shola Creative Studio, Lagos.

Assassins Kill Police Officer in Benue

On Thurdsday, unknown gunmen killed a Police officer, Bawa Ekoja, as confirmed by Benue state Police Command. Children of a Lagos landlady allegedly attacked a man who resides in their mother's compound on Popoola Street, off Abaranje Road in the Ikotun area of Lagos, while he was sleeping in his room with his family members. His wife, Bisi, who was with him when the incident happened, identified the assailants as Solomon and Damilola, the children of the landlady.

Sierra Leone Declares 90-day State of Emergency Over Ebola Virus

The spread of Ebola virus in Sierra Leone has set fear in the government, Sierra Leone President, Ernest Bai Koroma has declared a state of public emergency to tackle the worst ever outbreak and will call in security forces to quarantine epicentres of the deadly virus. Koroma announced he was cancelling a visit to Washington for a U.S.-Africa summit next week, because of the crisis and instead holding an emergency meeting with regional leaders in Guinea on Friday.

Keshi Denies NFF's N7m New Deal

Nasarawa Lawmakers Freeze State's Account

The Nasarawa State lawmakers had a meeting at a hotel in Karu, Nasarawa State where thry reached resolutions, which one of them include, freezing the state's account. However, the government house source revealed that they are not sure if the State assembly had the powers to freeze the state’s account, and that if the accounts were frozen that it would hit the Al Makura administration below the belt.

Ambassador to Liberia Didn’t Have Contact with Ebola Victim – Minister of Health

Nigeria’s Minister of Health, Prof.  Onyebuchi Chukwu has disclosed that the country’s Ambassador to Liberia, Chigozie Obi-Nnadozie did not have any contact with Patrick Sawyer, the Liberian man who died of Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) in Lagos. Again? Libyan Fighter Jet Crashes in Benghazi

On Tuesday July 29, a Libyan fighter jet that engaged in paramilitary attacks on Islamists in the restive eastern city of Benghazi crashed and exploded, after its pilot ejected safely. Nasir El-Rufai's son, Hamza El Rufai died in fatal auto accident on Tuesday morning.Hamza was driving the above black colour Lexus car, when he ran into a stationery blue colored Volkswagen Sharon car around the Ningi Barrack along A.Y.A - Kubwa. Two persons were involved in the crash but only Hamza died. According to the Federal Road Safety Corps, his corpse was taken to the national mosque by his parents, while the crashed vehicles were handed over to the Maitama Police station.
