Well, if you had noticed I have been on this story since yesterday. I posted it the first time on Wednesday's afternoon and was forced to pull it down. That was before posting photos from the opening of the Academy.  However, there are compelling reasons to revisit the report, as everything about it appears to be true.  Sources from Owerri,  Imo State capital disclosed that the Film Academy constructed and commissioned by Governor Okorocha has collapsed.

The multi-million naira Imo Film Academy commissioned by Governor Okorocha on November 14, 2014 at the premises of the Imo State College of Advanced Professional Studies, ICAPS, along Egbu Road Owerri, has collapsed, making top actress Nkiru Sylvanus, who was appointed its Director General to lose her job again.

It could not be confirm whether there was any casualty or not, because according to them, the debris had to be cleared for them to know.

Okorocha had set up the Film Village as part of the measures to promote the identity and cultural heritage of the Igbos and Nkiru  Silvanus was appointed the DG.

There be more details on this report.
