Boko Haram members were reportedly killed in Borno State on Thursday killed by
the Civilian Joint Task Force (JTF). The sect met with strong resistance from
the vigilante youth, popularly called Civilian JTF, as they planned on attacking
on Gubio Local Government area of Borno State.
The
youths from Gubio and Kareto according to sources were said to have been
alerted after the sect armed with sophisticated weapons, AK-47 rifles,
improvised explosive devices and petrol bombs were sighted in large numbers
using Hilux vehicles and motorcycles near Kareto by some vigilant people.
The
youths mobilized immediately and challenged the terrorists which led to the
killing of about 30 members of the sect.
The
spokesman of Borno Elders Forum, Engineer Bulama Gubio, confirmed the killing
of the Boko Haram members.

ReplyDeleteI kept asking if Boko Haram num doesn't finish. Do they recruite everyday? Becos a enough of them have been killed & they still increase in num & crime.
