UK based Nigerian Afrobeat star and Tuface Idibia’s
affiliate Abdulala, signed to BeeInvisible Ent and MSMG records, who recently
released the singles Nugo and Bamidele featuring Tuface Idibia, was a special
guest at Chelsea football club to watch them play earlier in the week. During
his visit to the West London Champions league winning club, he was introduced
to the Chelsea players including captain John Terry, Cesar Azpilcueta, John
Mikel Obi, Eden Hazard, Andre Schurrle and Brazilian world cup star Oscar, who
instantly became fans of the Afrobeat singer after listening to some of his
music.
The players were equally as excited to meet the singer as
much as he was to meet them with John Terry saying, " it's always a
pleasure to meet popstars from different walks of life as Chelsea is a
multicultural club, the fans and players are fans of different genres of music.
I am just meeting Abdulala for the first time but I like his music, energy and
he seems like a genuine guy and I wish him all the best with his career".
The players were happy to help promote his single by taking
pictures holding Abdulala's cd's.
