Today Wednesday, September 24, former Vice President Atiku
Abubakar has formally declared his presidential ambition on the platform of the
All Progressives Congress (APC). The former vice president’s declaration is
coming against the backdrop of his endorsement by south-west caucus of the APC.
He made his formal declaration at the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua
Centre in Abuja. The activities that marked the declaration largely focused on
youths to emphasise Atiku’s passion for the challenges facing young men and
women in the country.
Youth economic empowerment is one of Atiku’s cardinal
objectives because he regards them as the fulcrum around which the development
and future of Nigeria revolves
.
On why he chose Shehu Musa Yar’Adua’s center, Atiku stated, "It
is a great honour to begin this journey at the centre dedicated to the ideals
Shehu Musa Yar'Adua lived and died for all Nigeria. Shehu Musa Yar'Adua was one
of Nigeria's greatest democrats. He died fighting for democracy. He was also my
mentor for all Nigeria."

Very well ARTICULATED declaration speech Turakin Nigeria. Even if Atiku don’t become Nigeria’s President which I personally don’t see happening If only Nigerians can tell ourselves the truth and vote out our problem which is the current administration but for starting a campaign of issues and not personalities, he has my total respect.
