The former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar has condemned the gruesome killing of students in Yobe state on Tuesday February 25, 2014. He called on all Nigerians to come together as one and pray for the families of those children murdered in Yobe. The politicians equally disclosed deep sense of pains, stating that he is a father and grand father and is deeply heart broken by the images of those children killed in cold blood.

See his comment below:

“We must unite this morning this morning as One Nigeria, to pray for the families of those Children murdered in Yobe. I am a father. I am a grandfather. My heart is deeply broken by the images of those children killed in cold blood. I cannot imagine what the parents of those poor children are feeling. We can never replace their loss.

“Let's all join together as one country to pray for these families. They deserve our love and support. It's time for more action. I encourage Northern Governors to meet and reevaluate strategies to stem these killings. The FG must listen the leaders of the region, and collaborate at the local level to improve intelligence available to the military.

“We must support our troops with needed resources, intel and prayers, as they face this onerous task of securing our nation.”
