FBN Holdings Plc yesterday unveiled a new corporate logo which marks the transformation of the parent bank and its subsidiaries within and beyond Nigerian boundary where their operations are visible. Announcing the unveiling of the bank new image, the Chief Executive Officer of FBN Holdings, Mr. Mallam Bello  Maccido, said that the new identity represents the new tradition, position and vision of the company. He reiterated that the new corporate identity still preserves the brand identity and heritage.

Bello said to ensure more visibility of the bank to customers and prospect, the bank new look was informed by the need to ensure that the bank attracts more customers. The new refreshed identity he said underpins the FBN journey to a holding company and leadership status in the financial services sector.


“FBN will be 120 years old this year having being established in 1894.
Since 1894, the FBN brand has been established as a dynamic and leading brand in the financial service sector and sub Sahara Africa" Macido said.


FBN Holding logo still retains the iconic elephant symbol FBN is known for though in a slightly adjusted manner to reflect the age of the bank, its position in the financial industry and where it’s heading to. 


“With the new brand unveiling, all FBN Holding subsidiaries will now wear a new look,” the CEO said.
Head, Corporate Communications and Marketing of the bank, Mrs Folake Ani-Mumuney, stated that the heritage of FBN remains the heart of the brand, but then this heritage involves not just relevant to modern Nigeria but to the modern world at large.


She explained that the unique changes on body of the elephant encompass the FBN Holdings, First Bank, FBN Capital, FBN Mortgages, FBN Life, which is really what the organization stands for. 

Describing the unique changes of the elephant on the new identity log, she explained that the colours; gold and blue represent excellence of golden standard for efficient service delivery and trust.
