Sources revealed that on Sunday October 27, Nigerian
delegation in Israel shunned the prayer of Ayo Oritsejafor the CAN president,
as he focused a part of his prayer begging God to help the embattled Aviation
Minister, Ms Stella Oduah.
The incident was described as a mild drama, which occurred at
the River Jordan where the Nigerian delegation in Israel and President Jonathan
went to offer prayers, led by the partisan President of the Christian
Association of Nigeria (CAN) Ayo Oritsejafor. According to the information, he
prayed and did not receive response of Amen from his audience.
This is because, after praying for President Jonathan and
several dignitaries at the venue, Mr. Oritsejafor then specifically prayed for
Mrs. Oduah, but to his surprise several people in the gathering refused to say
“Amen” to his prayer, stunning the CAN president and Mr. Jonathan. Several
people then exchanged glances and moved on.
