At MIPCOM event it was a great time as creators,
distributors and media personalities all over the world gathered together to
network, buy and sell TV contents. Nigeria had a pavilion for the first time at
MIPCOM and the DG of National Broadcasting Commission, Mr Emeka Mba was fully
represented and other media giants from Nigeria.

Rowland Okorie joined FRAPA with the mission of protecting
his intellectual property called, KNOW YOUR MOVIES TV GAME SHOW, and good
numbers of his other creations yet to be released— The Format Recognition and
Protection Association – is, quite simply, to be the home of international
format business by providing protection and information for producers, creators
and distributors all over the world.
As the only West African member of the association he would
always say is good for all Nigerians and Africans who are in the format
business to protect their creations from a lot of copycats so that people
without original idea do not steal from them.
