A group of Nollywood actors led by veteran actor Emeka Ike stormed Abuja on Saturday October 26, to seek support and blessings of the chairman of the ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Alh. Bamanga Tukur, to ensure that their plans to carryout a nationwide rally, over the crises in education sector, general insecurity, overheating of the political system and other issues will be successful.
 
The Nollywood practitioners will use the rally to demand quick resolution of the crises rocking the ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to enable President Jonathan’s government get more focused on his transformation agenda.

The Nollywood actors further disclosed that football players like Celestine Babayaro, and top Musicians in the likes of 2-Face Idibia had enlisted in the Youths Agenda for Peace In Nigeria that would be helpful in mobilising the stars in their respective areas of endeavor to support the planned rally.

Not happy with the Boko Haram insurgency, the stars vowed to stage a rally in Maiduguri with a view of sensitizing the youths of the zone on the need to shun terrorism and embrace peace.
