One of the biggest headline news making waves in the media and social networks since Sunday September 29, 2013 is the deliverance which top actor Jim Iyke went through in Synagogue Church of All Nations, owned by T. B Joshua. Various Nollywood practitioners have tagged the development a big embarrassment not only to the actor but also Nollywood at large. According to them, deliverance is a personal thing, and shouldn't have gone into a video that have gone viral.
 
Meanwhile, few of them have been able to voice out their feelings and one such people is the former National President of Actors’ Guild of Nigeria, Mr. Segun Arinze who sent a message through his phone saying:

"This Jim Iyke's deliverance video at the Synagogue trending looks too contrived. It's a big embarrassment. Has anyone ever seen demons come out live and speak? Una fit stand demons? Una carry Nollywood enter Church, abi? How much did he get paid? I'm just wondering. Make una stop all these nonsense play. Haba. Stranger than fiction!
