Seven governors of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) walked out of the ongoing special delegates convention of PDP holding today, a decision which has deepened the crisis in the ruling party. The  governors who took what may be a final walk from the troubled party are those of Jigawa, Niger, Sokoto, Rivers, Niger, Adamawa, and Kwara.

The governors followed former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, who also walked out, to the Yar’Adua Center in Abuja where they addressed the media to give detailed reasons for their storming out.

Also in the protest walk is a former chairman of the PDP, Abubakar Baraje, and some Senators.
