It was reported earlier that President of Association of Movie Producers (AMP), Mr. Zik Zulu Okafor, president of Directors' Guild of Nigeria (DGN), Andy Amanechi, national secretary of Actors' Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Mr. Abubakar Yakubu have been invited by EFCC over Governor Godswill Akpabio's support fund of N50 million, following the petition sent to them by ANCOP president, Alex Eyengho.

While writing the report, efforts made by Julia Blaise Blog (JBB) to reach Mr. Okafor proved futile as he was not responding.

However, he contacted us and revealed his grounds on the issue, saying that Alex Eyengho is not part of Nollywood and cannot know what is happening in the industry.

"Don't you know Alex? Don't you know that he was a member of AMP before he was expelled and he went and started ANCOP? He is not part of Nollywood, because he was expelled. He is troubled because he doesn't know what is happening in the industry. How can they be asking about the money? Is the money for chop, is not for us to do something meaningful? We are getting ready, all Nollywood will meet and Alex cannot be part of it because he is not part of Nollywood.

"So, my dear leave him alone, he can petition to anybody and do whatever he wants. He wants to be relevant with all these things he is doing. The truth is that he is not a member of Nollywood.

"As I am talking to you, I am in my office. If EFCC invited me, how can I still be in my office? Just ignore Alex please."
