Few days back, a picture found on top actress Tonto Dikeh’s Instagram page went viral on the internet. While a lot of people considered the development as one of the exuberance of the actress, others o wondered what will make a pretty babe of Tonto’s age post a picture that suggest drug use on the internet. Despite all the publications online, the actress who obviously loves publicity stunt kept quiet. She never whispered a word to counter the information. However, Julia Blaise Blog (JBB) learnt that the pictures have cropped up more controversies, as a popular newspaper reported earlier today that Nigerian Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) will take action against Ms. Dikeh. According to the paper, NDLEA spokesman Mr. Mitchell Ofoyejus stated:

“Our attention has been drawn to the post quite frankly and I can tell you that action will be taken on it. The law is clear and NDLEA has been very clear on the issue. No one is permitted to sell, use, cultivate or encourage the use of Indian hemp in Nigeria. The weed is one of the banned narcotics in the country.

“NDLEA Act Section 14 (b) states that any person who conspires with, aids, abets, counsels, attempts to commit or is an accessory to any act or offence referred to in this act shall be guilty of an offence under this act and liable on conviction to be sentenced to imprisonment for a term not less than 15 years and not exceeding 25 years.”

However, while this report was making waves, information reached Julia Blaise Blog stating that Mr. Mitchell Ofoyejus has denied the statement published in Punch Newspaper. According to the source, the NDLEA spokesman denied the plans and stated that it is not within the scope of the Agency work.

It was equally gathered that Ms. Dikeh insisted that as of 11am this morning, nobody has reached her over such issue. They argued that pictures used in Instagram do not always belong to the handlers, so there are indications that the post might not have come from Ms. Dikeh, but taken from somewhere else.
