Information reaching Julia Blaise Blog (JBB), from Abia state has it Dialysis Centre has been set up at the Specialist Diagnostic Centre Umuahia, Abia state is set for commissioning in the next two weeks. As gathered, Governor Theodore Orji disclosed that the facilities needed for the kick-off have been made available. However, government is still waiting for the technical partners who will handle the machines from India.



The governor revealed that in the next few months indigenous health professionals will be trained.  It was equally revealed that 6 dialysis machines have already been installed to ensure that every patient at the centre gets attention and described the project as one that will benefit Nigerians.


The source say, the governor provided N180million as its contribution to the private and public partnership with Mecure of India  said government is now negotiating the fees to be paid to the expatriates  that would handle the machines.
